Restaurants and dining at Pittsburgh International Airport
Pittsburgh International Airport’s dining scene pairs national names with Pittsburgh institutions — from Shake Shack and Starbucks to Mineo’s Pizza House and the local coffee roasters that opened with the new terminal. Venues line the Landside Terminal and the airside centre core between the concourses.
What to expect
- With the transformation, 15 new local and national brands opened across the airport — including Pittsburgh’s own Café Conmigo coffee and tea house and the award-winning Bad Egg breakfast bar.
- Many venues open from around 4 a.m. to cover the first departing bank; the airside centre core stays busy through the evening flights.
- The AirMall legacy — Pittsburgh pioneered airport retail with “street pricing”: tenants charge the same prices inside the airport as outside.
Where to eat
| Location | Venues |
|---|---|
| Landside Terminal (pre-security) | Camden Food Market, Starbucks and welcome-level cafés for arriving guests and meeting points |
| Airside centre core | Beercode Kitchen & Bar (near Concourse C), Mineo’s Pizza House, Shake Shack, Mi Casa Cantina, Stack + Press Delicatessen, Joe & The Juice, The Strip Market |
| Along the concourses | Chick-fil-A, Dunkin’, Jimmy John’s, Farmer’s Fridge, Café Conmigo, Bad Egg Breakfast Bar, Sambazon Açaí, Starbucks |
Opening hours
- Airside dining follows the flight schedule — the earliest counters open around 4:00–4:30 a.m.; check the airport’s Food & Drinks directory for live hours on the day.
- After security, everything is a single walk from the centre core to any gate, so there is no need to eat before screening unless you are short on time.
- Land-side options in the new Landside Terminal serve arriving passengers and greeters at the Welcome Point.
Tips
- Weekend mornings (5–9 a.m.) bring the longest queues at coffee counters.
- Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices are available at most full-service venues — ask at the counter.
- Charging seating sits next to most dining clusters; the outdoor terraces welcome coffee in the open air (weather permitting).
Hours and venues change with the seasons and the transformation programme — the official Food & Drinks directory lists what is open today, location by location.
